Today, Illini called Fort Worth (Texas) Nolan Catholic 2022 defensive end Curlee Thomas. Curlee told me he got a phone call from associate head coach/outside linebackers coach Kevin Kane and defensive line coach Terrance Jamison. Asked him about his conversation with the coaches. "Pretty good." he said. "Coach Kane offered me at SMU so we already have a good relationship. Me and coach Jamison had started building one at Purdue so it’s to guys I’m pretty comfortable with." I am expecting Illinois to offer Thomas very soon.
