Tonight, Illini staff had a Zoom meeting with four-star St. Louis safety Isaac Thompson & his family. Isaac Thompson is currently committed to Missouri. I caught up with Isaac to talk about his Zoom meeting with the Illini.
“It was great.” he said. “I got to see their newly built facility and meet all the new coaches for the first time and they were all great. I got a great feel for the family atmosphere they have there. I’m building a really good relationship with Coach Henry and building even better relationships with Coach Bielema, Coach Walters, and obviously Coach Patterson. My family and I have been extremely close with safety Tony Adams since I’ve been 5 or 6 and he got on the call and explained how different the new staff is and how I need to be there with him."
