Tonight, Illini staff had a Zoom meeting with three-star New Jersey tight end Owen Anderson. I caught up with Owen to talk about his Zoom meeting with the Illini.
“Incredible.” he said. “I was blown away by the facilities and loved the energy from the staff! Coach Bielema knows how to develop TEs, and I think I’d be a great fit in his offensive scheme.
I followed up with what were his biggest takeaways from his Zoom meeting, and he said the following: “That the facilities were second to none and the staff gave a great tour of the facilities as well, also speaking to Coach Bielema was great and getting to talk with him about Illinois and tight end stuff was great. Overall, I’m really excited.”
